帆布ポーチ（S）桜崩し

東北の伝統模様〈桜崩し〉は山形蔵王温泉を代表する伝統こけしの模様です。

北欧デザインの起源よりも半世紀以上前から存在するこの伝統模様は、蔵王温泉で最後の伝統こけし工人、5代目の岡﨑幾雄さんが大切に受け継いで来られたデザインです。

自然と人間の手仕事が共に紡いだ伝統模様は、大きな変化や移動、情報が氾濫する現代では決して生み出せない清らかさと斬新さがあります。
本質的な自然の美しさを持つデザインを楽しんで頂くことで、日本、そして東北の文化を再認識し、多くの人に親しんで頂ければと思います。

The traditional Tohoku pattern known as Sakura Kuzushi is a signature motif of the traditional kokeshi dolls from Zao Onsen in Yamagata.

This pattern predates the origins of Nordic design by more than half a century and has been carefully preserved by Mr. Ikuo Okazaki, the fifth-generation craftsman and the last traditional kokeshi artisan of Zao Onsen.

Woven together by nature and human craftsmanship, this traditional motif possesses a purity and originality that could never be created in today’s world of constant change, movement, and information overload.
