江戸古地図と江戸切子を組み合わせた斬新なグラスです。
萬延元年（1860年）に描かれた江戸図を元に描き起こしデザインした地図をサテンプリントにてグラスの片側にプリントしました。もう片側には竹矢来文を、底面には定番の底菊のカットを施しています。葵の御紋は金色で豪華に、口金は細く上品に仕上げました。
江戸切子の老舗、堀口硝子の職人技が光る逸品です。
桐箱にも古地図のプリント入り。古地図マニア垂涎のレアなお品です。

This innovative glass combines the elegance of Edo Kiriko with the charm of an antique Edo map.
The design features a map originally drawn in 1860 (the first year of the Man’en era), which has been carefully redrawn and satin-printed on one side of the glass. The other side is adorned with the traditional takeyarai (bamboo fence) motif, while the base is finished with the classic sokogiku chrysanthemum cut. The aoi no mon crest is luxuriously highlighted in gold, and the rim is refined with a slender, elegant touch.
This is a masterpiece showcasing the craftsmanship of Horiguchi Glass, a long-established house of Edo Kiriko.
The paulownia box is also decorated with the antique map print, making this a rare treasure sure to delight Edo map enthusiasts.
